Tuckshop

Good Shepherd’s Tuckshop provides healthy eating choices to the College community and has adopted the Smart Choice strategy for food and drink selections. Open from 8:00am weekdays, the tuckshop also offers breakfast options each morning.

Please contact the Tuckshop if you would like to volunteer at the tuckshop for a few hours each term. It is a great way to get to know the school, teachers and other parents, especially if you are new to the Good Shepherd community.

We have three methods by which students can purchase from the tuckshop:

  1. Cashless on-line via Flexischools: Good Shepherd offers an online cashless ordering system via Flexischools. For more information or to place your order, please click here.
  2. Cash and EFTPOS: Students from Year 4 upwards can visit the tuckshop to purchase directly over the counter. EFTPOS is available for transactions over $5.
  3. Paperbag system
  4. If your child has forgotten their lunch or has a problem with their order, please contact Debbie at the tuckshop.

Prep students can order tuckshop meals on Tuesdays and Thursdays only. On these days they can place their order online via Flexischools or by placing their order in the orange box in their classroom. Their order will be collected by the teacher and distributed at break time.

Years 1 to 6 students can put their orders into the orange box in their classroom which will be delivered to the tuckshop each morning. Years 1 to 3 students are not allowed to carry money at school and therefore all orders should be placed through Flexischools or the bag system. Orders will then be delivered to the classroom at first break.

Please note: Only hot food will be delivered to the classroom. Any orders for drinks, yogurts, icy poles, etc are to be collected directly from the tuckshop by the student. The student must bring their bag order back to the tuckshop when they are ready to collect these items.

Any second break orders are also to be collected directly by the student from the tuckshop at second break. Second break orders are to be written on a separate order bag.

All order bags must be large enough for your child’s lunch to be placed inside, clearly marked with your child’s name, class, the order required, and enough money to cover the order. Any change required will be in the bag on its return. No staples or cellotape please.

Years 6 to 12 students can drop their bag orders into the tuckshop in the morning before school and collect their food at the appropriate time.

If your child has forgotten their lunch or has a problem with their order, please contact Debbie at the tuckshop.
